Veera Kopsala (b. 1991 Nurmijärvi) is a visual artist working with sculpture, painting and performance art. In sculpture her material is wood. She makes three-dimensional wood-relief paintings with different techniques using chisels, angle grinder and electric saws, and painting the reliefs with acrylic and water colours. At the core of Kopsala's art is corporeal existence and its depiction. 

Kopsala graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of the Arts in Helsinki with MA degree in Fine Arts 2022. She completed her studies in directing at the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki, and her studies in dance and choreography at the Inter-University Centre for Dance Berlin (HZT). Kopsala has works e.g. in the collections of the Association for Rural Culture and Education (Maaseudun Sivistysliitto) and the Finnish Art Association (work lottery).

Currently Kopsala has a one-year working grant from the Finnish Cultural Foundation. Her next solo exhibition will be in the large hall of Porvoo Art Hall in April 2025.
